On April 8th, we launched the first nationwide offline gathering of "Gamers" in Haikou for the year 2023. Serving as a platform, it aims to provide every "Gamer" with an enjoyable environment for communication and interaction.

In recent years, a series of favorable policies introduced by both the national government and the Hainan provincial government are actively fostering the growth of the gaming industry in Hainan. With the support of these measures, gaming enterprises in Hainan are experiencing a significant boost, propelling the rapid development of the gaming industry in the region.

The theme of the "People of Games" event in Haikou is "Cloud Gathering of Gaming Intellectuals, Exploring the Future of Gaming in Hainan." We had the honor of inviting Professor Espen Aarseth, a Fellow of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and a pioneer in international game research, to deliver a keynote speech on the past and present of academic research in gaming. He shared insights into the historical development, current status, and future trends of academic research in the field of gaming.

Prominent guests from the gaming industry in attendance also shared their personal career journeys and valuable experiences in the gaming sector.

 "People of Games" is a series of offline gatherings spanning multiple cities nationwide. Its original purpose is to unite local gaming professionals in each city, fostering mutual communication, acquaintance, and networking among attendees.
